Spiderman Cake

Here is the Spiderman cake from the same order as the Hello Kitty cake from the previous post. It is a red velvet cake with vanilla buttercream that I colored blue. It's hard to tell from these picture, but there are building surrounding the bottom of the cake &the red of the face looks kind of washed-out from the lighting, but it's actually a deep red like the second picture. 

Hello Kitty Cake

I made this for an order I received for a Hello Kitty Cake! I also got another cake order from the same customer..she wanted a spiderman cake as well. The Hello Kitty cake is strawberry with vanilla buttercream frosting. 

Makeup Cake

I received an order for a makeup cake..& here it is! The pink on the cake is way pinker than these pictures make it look. It's a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. It was so much fun making this one! I love making bows out of fondant. I can't wait to give it to my customer. Everything on the cake is completely edible by the way..yum!

Scorpion Cake

I made this for an order I received for a scorpion cake! This one took a lot of research since I had no idea what a scorpion really looked like. I think I did a pretty good job for only having studied scorpion pictures on google images a few hours before sculpting the cake. It's a strawberry cake with vanilla frosting.

Happy Father's Day..To My Dad!

For Father's day I made my dad a cake that looks like a grill with hamburger patties & sausages on it. It's a vanilla and chocolate cake with buttercream frosting. With all the decorations made from fondant.

I wanted to make the perfect cake for him. He really loved it! I definitely feel so lucky that I was chosen to be his daughter! I know a lot of people claim to have the best dad in the world, but in my opinion I  have the best dad EVER! :) 

Soccer Cake for Father's Day

A customer asked me to make a soccer cake for Father's Day. The cake is decorated with an FC Barcelona fútbol player, soccer ball, and scarf made out of fondant. I wanted to keep the cake Barcelona themed since it's her dad's favorite soccer team. The cake is vanilla and frosted with vanilla buttercream frosting.
